“Carleton Place is a growing community and the perfect place to raise a family or to downsize and retire,” said Wendy Ronberg.

After years of being a hockey mom of three travelling to Carleton Place for weekend games, Wendy Ronberg says “this town instantly grew on me”. Even her parents sold their home and moved to Carleton Place a few years ago and all her siblings live in Almonte.

Wendy’s company, Exit Realty Vision is “real estate re-envisioned” and associates value their role as “local ambassadors” to their clients focusing on “delivering exceptional consumer experiences”. They are there to provide guidance on local shops, schools, services, and community spaces.

“I’m proud to be part of this community and look forward to helping many more people make the move to Carleton Place.”

When it comes to supporting local, Wendy understands the value to both the local businesses and residents. “I have firsthand experience with how important it is to support local business. My family ran Lapointe Fish in the Byward Market, and I spent many hours of my youth working there. Our family relied on the support of local patrons, so I understand the risk and value the hard work that people put into their businesses.”

This former high school teacher, and coach understands the importance of supporting local. “It is all about building community and supporting your neighbours.”

In the past six months, the Exit Realty team has:

  • Sponsored The Great Canadian Turkey Tee Off (an ICSS event)
  • Raised funds for the Hunger Stop – Lanark County Food Bank
  • Honoured local coaches through the Coach of the Week award
  • Sponsored Carleton Place Comicon
  • Sponsored the Carleton Place Chamber of Commerce Curling Bonspiel (coming up on March 5th)
