On the banks of the Rideau Lake, CC’s on the Rideau is a culinary jewel in the heart of Rideau Ferry. Owner Erin VanPelt says operating CC’s in this close and friendly community is an easy decision.

“It is a wonderful area to both live and work”.

Being in a small town, and surrounded by so many other small towns, it’s especially important that businesses support each other. Some favourite local businesses Erin and her team support include Miller’s Bay Farm (fresh local produce), Covell Building Supplies (tools), Perth Brewery and The Office. In all cases, “their customer service and products are exemplary, and we know the money we spend stays in the community.”

The CC’s team is grateful to the local businesses and residents that have supported them through these last few difficult the years.

“When people support local it supports our small business as well as the local staff. Supporting local enriches our community and allows families to live and raise their children locally. The money spent in our community stays in our community.”

Erin is proud of how diligently her team works to ensure that customers have an enjoyable experience. “From sourcing the best quality food items to the chat at the table. I am extremely fortunate to have a team that takes pride in their work and cares about the customer.”

Finally, being able to open their doors again and welcome people in to dine fills Erin with so much hope for the future of CC’s. Her motto in 2022 is to “work as a team to build community and success”.

So, stroll, bike, drive, fly or float your way down to CC’s, for delicious food, and great service in their dining room, on the patio or their water side lawn. You may just find you spend the whole afternoon sharing a great meal (or two) with great friends on the calming banks of the Rideau.
